Halloween.fashion dilemma or is it

I got invited to a Halloween party and of course i wanna go. I cant help but wonder tho what the real celebration is here(yes i have Google but i just don't get it ) of course curious me wants to go all the same to have fun but mostly to check out other people's costumes. My problem tho is that i have to be in costume. if i over think this i might want to go as some old artists or some completely forgotten performer or even a theme like hurricane, corruption, happiness or even depression.unfortunately i have no way of expressing these in costume. Also i do have to go to a friend's graduation dinner right before i head to that party so there is a lot to consider. I want to be a respectful guest and show up looking dinnery but i also want to be in costume for the party after that without having to change. Randomly i was thinking about a cat suit which is very obvious and it all sounds too simple and uncreative but i might end up doing just that. Anyway like most non life threatening problems im sure this one will find a way of solving its self.

and then i went political..

Well its that time again for Ugandans to go to the polls and elect leaders and most importantly someone for the top job of president. After an interesting nomination period , the electoral commission cleared 8 candidates to stand for the top post.
For me this election is another way to waste poor peoples time begging them for votes and forcing candidates to make promises that even the babies in the village know they can not keep. I am sure all alerted Ugandan minds know that the structures in place can only accommodate one winner and that is the incumbent YK Museveni. These are structures he has so carefully established in his over 25 years of rule as president. you've got to hand it to this guy but for real i wonder when this dude is gonna bow out. I am still pondering whether  i will be voting or not in this coming election. My hesitation to partake in voting is not because i don't desire to exercise my constitutional rights but because i see no fit candidate. Also i have the grace to accept the things i can not change( museveni) and all the other candidates just seem to want the man out but no clear plans of their own.
My personal contribution to changing our society for the better will take a more bottom up approach . I will make sure that i educate myself and those around me on the basics of survival and success in life, work hard,  support worthy charities and be there for my family and friends. I can only hope that with the effort i will be putting in down here there will a good system up there to facilitate my change.

off point observations
1.  Norbert Mao's wife Naomi looked smashing. All the other potential first ladies should hire stylists especially Janet Museveni and those bata shoes of hers .

2.  UPC's otunnu needs to hook himself a nice young lady. i will not be having a bachelor president.( all that lack of  a womanly touch might make him pour his stress on the country)

3.  Also why is Besigye's hot wife Winnie missing in action. when your wife or alleged ex is that hot you pay her for the campaign period and dump her after. it only makes business sense.Pick a leaf from the Americans

4.  Who the *** is Samuel lubega. apparently the only independent candidate?

..of my weekend ..

This weekend was one of those where you plan some serious activities and nothing goes the way you planned which by the way is not necessarily a bad thing.  So sunday was my girl Barbabra's birthday and the plan was to have a super chilling day at the pool. do the whole round of steam bath , sauna, jacuzzi ,swim .just basically chill. well d day gets here and the big man up there decides he had something different in mind and so it poured cats and dogs . I had already packed my new bikini (thanks to grace) and was looking forward to a fun day in the sun.I happen to adjust fine to change  and so i changed my outfit n added a scarf and boots and i was good to go.
Thank God for back up plans .we all decided to take the birthday girl to lunch at haandi, this Indian restaurant at garden city . Now this should have been perfect but considering i had already filled myself up (knowing i was going swimming) it wasn't too pleasant for me. I had to sit n watch my four friends enjoy the food while i sipped on coke. I hate being bloated and so no matter how great the food looks i could not possibly eat some. i did nibble at the side servings and the conversation was great so that made my day .Its always fun to hangout with some of the bestest girls in town, shara, gini ,grace n barbra. love you guys.

hello world

I am finally here . it feels really good to be doing this . I have wanted to blog for a while now although i never gathered the energy to get of my ass and do it. One of the reasons i'm doing this is because i feel like my life is going by and i do not have any clear documentation for it . Also i think about too many things ,some stupid but most of the time things that are worth sharing .And so this blog will be my avenue for all that . its going to be a good ride so welcome people.
