The hair stylist in me decided to spend saturday doing her own hair. Its simple really and i feel much better doing it myself anyway. I used Revlon shampoo and conditioner and then treated with T.tree. You can actually feel the texture soften as you massage it into the hair. T tree does a good job anti frizzing and softening the hair. The results were amazing in fact ive been on a looking good high all day because of my hair
The turban is back.......
I'm normally a headscarf girl and a while back i started experimenting with the revived turban inspired dos and i must say i love it. I think the trick is to just to play around with scarves of different patterns and colors. The shape does not even have to be defined or crammed, be creative and give your turban a personal touch.
. Happy Sundays people.

im getting into the doing my own hair thing and oooooh im touched lolita glad to be an inspiration..
I stayed up all last night getting the braids out of my hair, having asked one of the salon people close to home, what the charge would be for having my braids removed...a cool 10,000/= he said. I may not sound like much but girl, I'm being frugal this year, so yeah.
Love the look. I wear my hair natural, at least after cutting it late last year, my question is, how do I get to manage it, without texturising it? :)
PS: I'm wearing a turban to work today as a result of the stay-up last night...
when i had natural hair i never had to comb it or anything. I was growing nappy hair and all i did was shampoo and use wax,oil it to maintain the look, even colored it myself.Depending on the look you dont have to do much. just keep it conditioned and apply as little heat as possible. Here is a link to one of the best natural hair blogs i know.im sure she can help with that.thnxs for visiting.http://hairspiration.blogspot.com
I like your hair and you could so rock the turban.

your hair looks wonderful! i want to try a turban soon - thanks for the inspiration!
Ohhh I love the way you tied that turban. I've gone natural and my hair is hard as steel wool and I'm even scared of it, its going to be a long journey :)
turban away zarna. kenyansista ,when me hair was natural it was harder than steel wool but i used that to my advantage . i stopped combing and let it kink u p and that became my hairstyle. everyone loved it and those who didn't thought i was unique. see the picture in my post about my birthday.
You look gorgeous in the turban...really nice

The closest i've come to styling my own hair is combing it straight, or clipping it up heh. I'm not into the turban trend cause i don't really like anything on my head- caps, and stuff. But maybe i'll try it, just cause :s

After tying the scarf on from the back to the front, i twisted the two tails until i had one long tail which i then tied around untill i got that. i dont feel like ive explained it well but i hope u get it.
Lol... I kinda sorta get it?
Do a videoooo? pleaaaase? It took me days to do mine. And even then, I have to take toilet breaks to make sure it's not gone all funny looking on me!
