street fashion blogs and sites are some of my sources of fashion inspiration. international fashion trends and designers' takes are all good but nothing beats personalised interpretation of fashion and individual style. that i find even better. The looks may get blasted for or ooohs and aahhh as people oogle at the creativity but in the end they are personal and that counts for alot. checking out street fashion blogs is like seing many people's style blogs in one .I wanna thank all those who take their time to feed us with fashion inspiration or faspiration as i like to call it. These days i am more aware of people as i walk on the streets. their clothes, their attention to detail on a girls top, the way one ties their belt, the colours, the accesories, hair, bags etc..I would like to start photographing them and sharing with the world but untill i buy a good camera and develope unknown skill , im gona reccomend you check out these sites,
cinder and skylark in Cape town
face hunter,
nyanzi
the sartorialist
vanessa jackman
The list could go on and on but check these out and you will find that many give links to other street fashion sites and the experience continues thereon. Im really happy to post this and without sounding pan africanist( which i am)i wanna ask african people to pick a leaf. i know i will be trying. Also if you know of any street fashion sites in Africa besides cinder and skylark in Cape town , share the link.id love to know

Great post. I hope you start one soon. Its good to see people who appreciate proper dressing as opposed to just focusing on fashion fails.
