The back to school party

So someone rightly decided it would be interesting to get together Kampala's drunkards to party in school uniform. At the party one had to show up in school uniform or pay an entrance fee.Ugandans including moi hate to pay for things and we never disappoint with themed parties so dress up we did. The party was complete with alcohol and food served in plastic cups and plates. There were metallic beds for those who wanted to sit and high school lingo was being used everywhere. 

A few observations were made

Most ladies utilized the opportunity to wear their children's or younger siblings' uniforms and get away with it.

Ugandans are very creative. I don't have pictorial evidence but people came up with the most interesting renditions of school uniforms. There was also a school nurse, askari etc

Then there were the bizarre ones like the two boys i saw wearing dresses and socks...very weird but fun to look at. 

Men really do not age. While the guys looked like they could pass for real high school students, the girls looked like mature entry students...unfair

More beer in a cup. Thank heavens my camera hides things otherwise you would be forced to see the scary things i saw .....lets just say but this guy wore shorts that were probably too small for him even in P.1.

There were also snacks served on plastic plates as they did back in school
