Our Version Of Events - Emeli Sande

Few albums ever are as good as Emeli Sande's Our Version of Events. This album affects me like i cant describe..takes me places literally (i drive listening to it) lol.
The songs are for anyone that has experienced real shit and by this i mean love, pain, rejection, obsession and of course anyone that loves good music.

My favorite songs off it right now have got to be "breaking the law" and "My kind of Love" but i could easily replay the whole album all day long.
Emeli Sande kills it always and she is definitely one to watch.

Find the album and thank me later.

You know you're love struck when..............

You know cupid is visiting at yours................
When all your dreams, however twisted and disturbed feature him
When you feel your ears twitch at the mention of his name by strangers. You blush if its by people you know
When you want to tell him about your day to the most irrelevant details.
When you've already made babies with him in your head and goodness are they adorable
When kissing him is dreamy, feels like fireworks, swimming in icy water, eating a really good burger but so much better
When you prowl his Facebook daily if not all the time ps: this may also be classified as stalker behavior but that's a thin line, right?
When you're exhibiting symptoms of early onset of madness aka smiling ad nearly laughing to oneself when you think about great moments with Him.
When everything he says, however stupid is just "so cool"
When you're friends start avoiding because guess what hearing about him is now sickening.

How else do you kow you're love struck? Feel free to spill from experience or otherwise

BE HAPPY, OGLE AT HAIR

I miss my natural hair so ogling at other belles gorgeous tresses is all i have. I had my hair natural for over a year and then relaxed it about a month ago so i could wear it a certain way for my wedding. I am now wearing it in a short boy cut and will be cutting it off all very soon.  Even though i cant wait to be natural, i most certainly do not miss de tangling.... damn that process can be such a bitch. I also don't miss the half buttered compliments e.g "your hair is so nice for natural hair". note to self: If ever you find your brain conjuring up some ignorant comment about something, it might be good to take some more time to consider shutting up maybe

July is here, have a little more fun this month and be thankful for each day. Work, school and the other "serious" life ambitions can be so joy sucking sometimes so if ogling at other peoples hair makes you happy then indulge yourself.

Happy week ahead
